Creating Presentations That Engage and Inspire
Presentations are now part of everyday life in many vocational training programmes – at vocational school, within the company, in front of colleagues, customers or management. They are also an important element of many final examinations.
This workshop is not primarily about creating perfect PowerPoint slides. The focus is on what makes a presentation effective: a clear structure, a convincing storyline, storytelling, confident delivery and the purposeful use of different presentation methods.
Apprentices develop their own presentation ideas, try out different approaches and learn how to reach and engage an audience.

- Using storytelling to make content easier to understand and remember
- Explaining complex topics clearly and concisely
- Using examples, images and visual aids effectively
- Designing slides that support rather than distract from the presentation

- Using body language, voice, eye contact and pauses effectively
- Dealing with nervousness and unexpected situations
- Responding to questions from the audience
- Using alternatives to PowerPoint and combining different presentation methods

Expectations regarding presentation style, audience interaction, formality and visual design can differ between cultures and organisations.
The workshop can therefore be adapted to the cultural and professional context of the participants.
For international groups, it can also explore presentation expectations in German companies and help participants communicate ideas effectively in intercultural settings.

Format
- One-day workshop, approximately 8 training units, for example from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including breaks.
- The ideal maximum group size is approximately 12 participants.
- The content, format and duration can be adapted to the organisation, target group and local context.
